It is very difficult to spot your own errors.  Fresh and experienced eyes pick up the errors you do not see.   We can also help with improving the tone and style of your document if needed.  Additionally we are experienced in editing documents for English usage where the writer’s first language is that other than English. 

Initially we do a quick overview of your document and then proceed to proofread, checking for spelling, grammar and punctuation.  If your document needs editing for tone, style and/or English usage we do this next.  Lastly we do a thorough last proofread and check.

Spellcheck does a great job but misses many errors.  For example, the spell check will consider both “Project Manager” and “Project Manger” as correct; but obviously one is wrong. It also doesn’t help you with the correct usage of commonly misused words, such as their and they’re, your and you’re, and affect and effect. The grammar check is even more limited; it cannot understand that many expressions have multiple meanings and that the context of a single word can change the entire meaning of a sentence.

The client retains sole copyright, ownership and control over all materials submitted to Asia Proofreading Services.  Documents are deleted from our system on completion of work, unless the client directs us otherwise.   We are happy to sign confidentiality agreements as the client requires.
